Holiday Store

The Holiday store is coming!!!

December 6th through the 8th members of the PTA will be hosting a holiday store for the students of Mari-Linn.

Store hours will be from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM - with Kindergarten shopping on Thursday at 9:30 AM. Store will be located in the school's library.

What is a holiday store?

It's an in-school gift shop where children can buy their own gifts for family and friends. Run by our PTA volunteers, in cooperation with "Kids Go Shopping", a well-organized company with a great selection of gifts to make it fun and satisfying for everyone!

Parents know their children are in a supervised sheltered environment and can be genuinely surprised when they open their gifts. Students feel the satisfaction of accomplishing an important task "on their own". They also experience the thrill of delighting a loved one with the perfect gift.

This event is a courtesy of the Mari-Linn PTA. There is no profit made from the items sold.

On Tuesday, December 5th each student will be given a budget envelope in their Tuesday folder. Please sit down with your child and talk about how much they may spend on each member of the family. An example: Sally Sue is able to spend $4.00 on each of her two sisters and $5.00 on both of her parents. Making the total enclosed in her envelope $18.00.
