Mari-Linn PTA will be presented a free banner from the Oregon PTA this Thursday, April 5th @ 6:30 pm. We reached our goal of 32 paid memberships. All dues go directly to the Oregon PTA to provide services & training to our group. Membership dues are only $5.25 per person, per school year.
Also this Thursday, we will be voting in new board members for the 2007-2008 school year. Nominations for each position are:
Stacy McGuire ~ Returning Treasurer
Paula Sandefur ~ Returning Secretary
Brandy Hill ~ Incoming Vice President
Tasha Petersen ~ Incoming President
The PTA will be working to raise funds for the school's library. We where given an approximate balance of $5,500.00 that is needed to purchase new updated books. We would like to remodel the room, too. If you have any ideas or would like to volunteer your time, please come to the meeting and let us know!
